Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a system which senses the movement of a club head immediately prior to and at the time of an impact force applied.
CONSTITUTION: The following system is obtained which has a pre-determined vision 35 and which, within that region 35, has cameras 18 and 19 that release shutters at least twice quickly in succession. Light emitted from strobo means 21,22, 23 and 24 is illuminated to small reflective spots installed in a club head 7 and a ball 8. The light illuminated to the small reflective spots is inputted in each of the cameras 18 and 19. A computer 5 receives signals generated from light patterns received by each of the cameras 18 and 19. The computer 5 decides the movement and orientation of the club head based on such signals and further, the status of impact of the ball 8 and club head 7 is identified.
