PURPOSE: To provide a compsn. containing a new compd. which is useful as a fragrance component to impact yellow flower type floral green aroma to compound perfumes and fragrance products.

CONSTITUTION: This compsn. contains one or more kinds of compds. selected from new methyl N-(3-phenyl-1-butenyl)anthranilate, methyl N-(3- phenylbutylidene)anthranilate and methyl N-(1-hydroxy-3-phenylbutyl)anthranilate expressed by formulae I to III (wherein wavy lines represent cis or trans configuration) obtd. by allowing methyl anthranilate to react with 3-phenylbutanal. The obtd compsn. is useful as an active component of compound perfumes or fragrance products such as a perfume, or as an additive to impart characteristics of the aroma, to improve, to enhance or to correct these products. From this compsn., compound perfumes and fragrance products having yellow flower type floral aroma can be produced.
