To provide a method to prevent fire spark of bonfire from being dispersed by efficiently collecting fire spark generated by bonfire to prevent the fire spark from being dispersed around, and an air permeable sheet used for the method.SOLUTION: A method to prevent fire spark of bonfire from being dispersed covers an upper part of the bonfire by an air permeable sheet 5 formed of flame retardant fibers at a height position unexposed to flame across a prescribed range centering on the flame central axis, makes the upward hot air flow of the bonfire collide with the air permeable sheet 5 from the lower side, and collects fire spark (a) moving along the upward hot air flow from the bonfire in the air permeable sheet 5. The fire spark moving along the upward hot air flow is autonomously collected by making use of the upward hot air flow on the flame of the bonfire. An air blower is not required to collect the fire spark by making the upward hot air flow collide with the air permeable sheet 5, so that damage such as a burn can be prevented simply at low cost and bonfire can be safely enjoyed at ease.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
