Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit two parallel logical channels with higher efficiency by means of a code division system by preparing a coupling means which compiles a communication message based on the diffusion data on a 1st channel and the diffusion data on a 2nd channel having its changed gain.
SOLUTION: A signal to be sent to an I branch is equal to the difference between a DTCH channel diffused by a code CI and a PCCH channel diffused by a code CQ, and the PCCH channel is multiplied by a gain coefficient G. Meanwhile, the signal to be sent to a Q branch is equal to the sum of the DTCH channel diffused by the code CQ and the PCCH channel diffused by the code CI, and the PCCH channel is multiplied by the coefficient G. Then the IQ modulation is carried out at a high frequency part by a local oscillator 59, a multiplier 60, a phase shifter 61 and a multiplier 62. The signals of both I and Q branches are connected together by an adder 63 and sent to an antenna 64 to be transmitted.
