To obtain a system and a method by which a customer executes communication with a company by means of bi-directional voice while being connected to the Internet by connecting a telephone exchange to a network site with a communication network and establishing an inter-point path between the exchange and the network site.

A communication signal from the telephone exchange 110 is transmitted to a network server 120 having the network site 125 through the communication network 115 and communication is executed with a computer 105 which is connected to the exchange 110. The telephone exchange 110 is connected to the network site 125 with the communication network 115 and communication over the inter-point path (communication line 145) between the exchange 110 and the network site 125 is established. Thus, telephone connection from the computer 105 to the network site 125 through a communication link 145 is attained.
