PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crude oil and naphtha transferring method capable of batch-transferring the naphtha and the crude oil from a carrier tank to a storage tank by using one set of piping.
SOLUTION: At least one part of several carrier tanks is appointed to be loaded with naphtha, and the naphtha and the crude oil are transported together by one carrier. When unloading by using the piping 53 to feed the naphtha 3 from a vessel-inside tank 11 to a naphtha tank 6, the piping 53 is connected to a crude oil tank 4. Quantity of the crude oil staying in the piping 53 is previously computed, and the naphtha 3 is fed from the vessel-inside tank 11, and the feeding quantity of the naphtha is measured. When the feed quantity of the naphtha 3 becomes nearly equal to the previously computed quantity of the crude oil 2 staying in the piping 53 on the basis of a flow analysis of the mixture flow 7 formed of the crude oil 2 inside the piping 53 and the naphtha 3, feed of the naphtha 3 is stopped, and feed is switched to the crude oil tank 4, and feeding of the naphtha 3 is started again.
