Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, by targeting a method for manufacturing a polymer pellet by using an underwater cutting device, a method for transporting a polymer pellet affording an inexpensive plant construction cost of pelletizing through pellet storing/packaging facilities and unaccompanied by the generation of resin debris.SOLUTION: The provided method for transporting a polymer pellet is a method for transporting a polymer pellet used for transporting a polymer pellet manufactured by using an underwater cutting device into a dehydrating/drying apparatus based on the head pressure of a pump, by dehydrating and drying the pellet, by transporting the dried polymer pellet into a silo, and by subsequently transporting the resulting pellet into a packaging facility from the silo wherein the polymer pellet dried by the dehydrating/drying apparatus is induced to fall into the silo positioned underneath the dehydrating/drying apparatus and wherein the dried polymer pellet is subsequently air-transported into the packaging facility from the lower portion of the silo via an air transport line.
