Title:
METHOD FOR TRANSPORTING ZINC OXIDE THROUGH PIPELINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2828577
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To receive zinc oxide directly into a hopper from a carrier by using a pipeline of specified material, specifying the amt. of transportation air, introducing auxiliary air under specified conditions on the way to the hopper and specifying the flow velocity of the air in the pipeline.
CONSTITUTION: A SUS 304 internally polished pipe is used for the pipeline, and the volume ratio of the zinc oxide to air in the mixture is controlled to ≤10%. An auxiliary air inlet pipeline is formed to the pipeline, air is introduced at ≥2kgf/cm2 and at ≥2Nm3/min, and the flow velocity of the air in the pipeline is controlled to ≥10m/sec. When the conditions are not fulfilled, the zinc oxide deposits in the pipeline, or the pipeline is clogged. Dust is not generated in the receiving operation, and a dangerous operation is eliminated.
