To provide a method for treating an agglomerated ore which can be efficiently fed into a blast furnace without sticking particulate powder.
The method for treating the agglomerated ore is characterized by including: a washing step for washing the agglomerated ore with water; and a dehydration step for feeding the washed agglomerated ore into a centrifugal dehydration type dehydrating machine and removing the surface water. In addition, it is characterized in that the number of rotation of the centrifugal dehydration machine in the dehydration step is adjusted so that the gravity acceleration applied on the agglomerated ore becomes at least 400 m/sec2. Furthermore, it is characterized in that a continuous centrifugal dehydration machine which continuously feeds the agglomerated ore into a rotating screen is used, and the number of rotation of the centrifugal dehydration machine in the dehydration step is adjusted so that the gravity acceleration applied on the agglomerated ore becomes at most 700 m/sec2.
