A method for treating an attachment in an elevator shaft is provided for treating the attachment in the elevator shaft in a state of connecting a security facility to a shaft entrance that forms the entrance of an elevator shaft. The security facility serves for communication between the inside and outside of the elevator shaft and includes an air shower. The security facility is equipped with casters and connected to the shaft entrance when treating the attachment in the elevator shaft, and moves while being released from connection to the shaft entrance when not treating the attachment.
