To provide a method for treating a binder elimination gas capable of deodorizing the gas without separate necessity of a special purpose treating apparatus for deodorizing the gas and reducing the generating amount of CO2 or an NOx.
The method for treating a binder elimination gas comprises the step of deodorizing a large quantity of binder elimination gas generated by evaporating binder components in the steps of baking and drying a material to be baked containing the components. In this case, the baking step of the material is executed in a baking furnace 1 using a radiant tube burner 3 as a heat source, the gas generated in the furnace 1 and the gas generated in a drying furnace executing the drying step are mixed with combustion air of the burner 3 and burned to be deodorized and then discarded to the outdoor.
