PURPOSE: To reduce deterioration in cell activity and simultaneously enable highly efficient fusion or introduction, by carrying out the fusion of heterologous cells or introduction of DNA into cells using timing application of a centrifugal force and pulse voltage.

CONSTITUTION: A pair of electrodes are provided on opposite wall surfaces of a hermetically sealable container and a solution containing heterologous cells or cells and DNA is placed therein. The container is then mounted on a turntable 1 of a centrifuge so that the pair of electrodes may be in a state of inside and outside. The turntable 1 is then rotated to apply a pulse voltage to the pair of electrodes while applying a centrifugal force to the cells, etc.
