Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an inexpensive regenerated article of plastic having low pollution and excellent physical properties even in melting and molding again by decomposing a resin component comprising a coating film without separating the coating film from a molded article of plastic.
CONSTITUTION: In a method for treating a molded article of plastic whose surface is partially or totally coated by making the coated molded article of plastic into small pieces or not making into small pieces, the treatment is carried out by bringing the coated molded article into contact with an alkaline alcohol solution containing an alkali metal compound to give a method for treating the coated molded article of plastic.
