Title:
METHOD FOR TREATING CONCRETE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3434030
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To effectively carry out desalination from concrete damaged by salts and re-provision of alkalinity to neutralized concrete by feeding an electrolyte solution containing a water-soluble lithium compound to the concrete under specific conditions in an electrochemical treating method of concrete.
CONSTITUTION: This method for treating concrete is to feed an electrolytic material containing a water-soluble lithium compound between surface electrodes and/or between the surface and an internal electrodes and keep a molar ratio of lithium to sodium in the concrete to ≥0.1 in a method for applying electric current to the concrete between these electrodes using a steel material in the concrete of a concrete structure as the internal electrode and an electrode mounted on the surface part of the concrete as the surface electrode, respectively. The lithium ion concentration of the electrolytic solution is preferably ≥1mol/L.
