Abstract:

To provide a method of treating a produced crude oil, and a device for executing the method.

A method of treating a produced crude oil includes (a) a process of separating the crude oil into gas and degasified emulsion, (b) a process of separating the degasified emulsion into a water phase (W) and an oil phase (O), and the process (b) includes a process (b1) of washing the emulsion at a boundary surface between the oil phase (O) and the water phase (W). The device for executing the method equips a separator 102;108 which separates the crude oil into gas and degasified emulsion and a washing tank 112 which separates the degasified emulsion into the water phase (W) and the oil phase (O), and the washing tank 112 includes a spray or water scattering system 115 which washes the degasified emulsion at the boundary surface between the oil phase (O) and the water phase (W).
