To provide a method of treating the end of the shield plate of a concrete structure capable of easily shaping the end surfaces of the concrete structure by using the shield plate and eliminating a conventional concrete end having serrated projections when a concrete structure such as sand control dams using a soil formwork is constructed.
A shield plate 10 installed on a back haw or a hydraulic shovel 20 is disposed so disposed along the design line L of the boundary between a soil formwork 1 and a concrete structure B that the concrete can be separated from the soil. The soil A and the concrete 2 are separately charged to both left and right sides of the shield plate 10. After the upper surfaces of the soil and the concrete charged are rolled, the shield plate 10 is moved in the unconstructed direction along the design line, and the steps of separately charging the soil and concrete, rolling the soil and concrete, and moving the shied plate are repeatedly performed in this order.
