Abstract:

To provide a new method for treating keratinous fibers, especially hair.

This method for treating keratinous fibers comprises: (i) a step of applying steam to the keratinous fibers at a rate of 5 g/min; and (ii) a step of shaping the keratinous fibers at a temperature higher than 50°C, wherein the application of steam and the shaping do not occur continually.
