Abstract:
To provide a method capable of freely controlling the adding quantity, the temperature or the like of a decomposing agent and an alkali metal salt of a chelating agent corresponding to the performance of the material to be treated or the content of a halogenated organic compound, making the device small-sized and treating the balogenated organic compound in site.
The method is composed of a decomposing agent adding process for adding the decomposing agent to a material to be treated such as fly ash containing the halogenated organic compound, an adding process for adding a water solution of the alkali metal salt of the chelating agent to the material to be treated and a kneading process for kneading the material to be treated.
