Abstract:
To provide a method for treating metal-containing waste which can recover high-quality metal in a good yield.SOLUTION: A method for treating metal-containing waste includes: a heating step of heating metal-containing waste; a crushing step of crushing the metal-containing waste after the heating step; a first sieving step of sieving a crushed matter of the metal-containing waste, and separating the crushed matter into over-sized matters and under-sized matters: a crushing step of crushing the under-sized matters obtained in the first sieving step using a crusher having a crushing mechanism having a crushing surface in a vertical direction; a magnetically sorting step of magnetically sorting exhaust stone exhausted in the crushing step, and separating the exhaust stone into a magnetically attractable matter and a non-magnetically attractable matter; a second sieving step of sieving the non-magnetically attractable matters obtained in the magnetically sorting step, and separating the non-magnetically attractable matters into over-sized matters and under-sized matters; and a specific gravity sorting step of treating the over-sized matters and the under-sized matters obtained in the second sieving step with specific gravity sorters having porous plates with different apertures.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
