Abstract:
To provide a method for treating a metallic surface by which a film having extremely excellent lubricating characteristics can be deposited on a metallic surface at a low cost and also under a low environmental contamination load.
In this method for treating a metallic surface, a metallic surface is charged with at least one kind of lubricating material powder selected from molybdenum disulfide and polytetrafluoroethylene and is the lubricating material powder deposited by electrostatic powder coating, so that a film is deposited thereon.
