Abstract:

PURPOSE: To sufficiently quickly conduct the subject decomposition treatment at room temperature or so, intended to reuse the decomposition product as a raw material, by bringing a specific molded form into contact with a solution containing an alkali (alkaline earth) metal compound of alkaline property and an alcohol.

CONSTITUTION: This decomposition treatment is accomplished by bringing (A) a molded form consisting mainly of an ester linkage-contg. decomposable resin (e.g. polycaprolactone) into contact with a solution containing (B) at least an alkali (alkaline earth) metal compound of alkaline property (e.g. sodium hydroxide) and (C) an alcohol (methyl alcohol). It is preferable that the component A be treated by immersing it in a solution containing both the components B and C and added with (D) inorganic compound particles (e.g. alumina particles with a size of 10μm to several mm) followed by agitation.
