Abstract:

To provide a method for treating residual ash of an aluminum with which aluminum alloy can be recovered by reasonably treating the residual ash of the aluminum and the practicality is high.

The residual ash A of the aluminum, a carbon reducing material C and a silica rock B are supplied so as to approach onto molten metal 4 in a reducing furnace 1, and melted and reduced with an arc-discharging to produce an aluminum-silicon alloy. Then, this molten alloy is taken out directly or through a holding furnace 15 and cast as an ingot 30, and gas generated in the above reducing furnace 1 is cooled by guiding the gas to a cooling tower 10 and also, gasified metallic components are recovered by cooling and catching, and fine powder (grain) accompanied with the exhaust gas is separated with a dust-removing process and recovered as the powdery material.
