PURPOSE: To provide a quick and proper fabric speed and enable the treatment of a wide range of textile products by controlling the mixing ratio of a liquid stream to an air stream according to the kind and basis weight of a material to be treated.

CONSTITUTION: This method for treating a ropy textile product with a fluid is to control the mixing ratio of a liquid stream to an air stream from a fluid jetting part according to the kind and basis weight of a material to be treated so as to treat the material at a proper fabric speed in the method for treating the fabric during circulation through a circuit in which the fabric pulled up with a driving reel or a roll 3 contained in a header 2 is passed through the treating fluid jetting part comprising a combination of a liquid stream jetting part 4 with an air stream jetting part 5, a transfer pipe 6 and a retention tank 7 and returned to the header 2.
