Abstract:
To provide a method of treating waste of gypsum boards capable of easily providing recycled gypsum which has sufficiently reduced contents of paper and cellulose fiber and is suitable as e.g. gypsum for cement.
The method of treating waste of gypsum boards includes a process (A) of preparing a crushed product of waste of gypsum boards and a process (B) of removing paper and cellulose fiber from the crushed product of waste of gypsum boards through static electricity. The contents of paper and cellulose fiber in the crushed product of waste of gypsum boards prepared in the process (A) are preferably 0.5-2.0 mass%.
