Title:
METHOD FOR TREATING WASTE HOUSEHOLD ELECTRIC APPLIANCE TO RECYCLE THE SAME AS RESOURCES
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3969048
Kind Code:
B
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a metal such as iron powder generated in a crushing process from getting mixed in an olefinic resin, which is recycled as a material, as foreign matter in a method for treating a waste household electric appliance to recycle the same as resources by crushing the used household electric appliance to fractionate the same into separated materials.
SOLUTION: Ferrous metal pieces are taken out of the crushed matter obtained in a primary crushing process 3 in a magnetic force sorting process 4 and the crushed matter is separated into ultralight matter such as a film, foamed polystyrene, sponge and plastics other than the same in a first air sorting process 5a and a second air sorting process 5b. Nonferrous crushed matter and plastics are separated in a nonferrous metal sorting process 6 and the crushed matter mixed with plastics different in kind is separated into two or more kinds of plastic groups by utilizing the difference between physical properties in a water specific gravity sorting process. At least a fine crushed matter separation process 9 for separating and removing fine crushed matter such as iron powder generated in the primary crushing process 3 is provided on and after the primary crushing process 3.
