Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize small resources by recovering a useful material capable of being recycled or particularly plastics by collecting source separated plastics from the wastes of metals or the plastics to be discarded in a large quantity.
SOLUTION: A method for treating the waste comprises the steps of first drying a plurality of types of mixed crushed plastics in the case of sorting the plastics by collecting source separated plastics, thereafter electrostatically isolating the plastics, and separating the plastics into the plastics having good chargeability and the plastics having low chargeability except the good chargeability plastics.
