Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for treating wastewater containing a cyanogen compound, said method being capable of timely reflecting the information about the cyanogen compound in wastewater that contains a suspended substance without causing a failure of an analyzer in the long term. The present invention relates to a method for treating wastewater containing a cyanogen compound, said method being characterized by comprising an analysis step for analyzing a cyanogen compound in wastewater that contains a suspended substance and a treatment step for treating the cyanogen compound by adding a chemical into the wastewater. This method is also characterized in that: the kind of the chemical and/or the amount of the chemical to be used in the treatment step is determined on the basis of the information about the cyanogen compound in the wastewater, said information is achieved in the analysis step; and a dispersant is added to the wastewater that is introduced into the analysis step.
