To provide a water treating apparatus containing an ozone treating device and a membrane filtering device, which can treat water stably with minimum clogging of the membrane without increasing the injection amount of ozone even for an increase in turbidity of raw water.
The apparatus is characterized in that there are provided a device 4 obtaining a turbidity-removed raw water by reducing the turbidity of the raw water, an ozone injection device 15 obtaining an ozone-injected raw water by injecting ozone to the above turbidity-removed raw water, a membrane filtering device 11 obtaining a membrane-filtration raw water from the above ozone-injected raw water and an activated-carbon treatment device 20 obtaining the treated water from the above membrane-filtration water.
