Abstract:

To provide a method for preparing a catalyst having better catalytic performance.

The method treats zeolite particles to remove an organic templating agent therefrom and calcines the zeolite particles in a fluidized-bed at a temperature of not more than about 600°C for a period of time sufficient to remove at least about 50% of the organic templating agent.
