Abstract:
To prevent all devices on a LAN from starting up when turning on the power of an indefinite number of devices having a WOL function by magic packets (by designating a broadcast address), and to improve power saving.
A function that a user wishes to use is designated for turning on power selectively (1). A device itself is allowed to have a mechanism of two-stage activation(2).
