A label indicating a code (unique code) that does not overlap such as a serial number that can be read by a machine is attached to the laundry of an individual in a facility, and an optical code-reading device and a computer storing a control table are used to control the laundry for each individual and facility. In the computer, the control table having the unique code of the label attached to an individual article as a key item is registered. A statement of delivery and bill are issued to individuals and facilities.
