Abstract:

PURPOSE: To unify the temperatures of layers of respective cells by utilizing an endothermic effect in a desulfurization operation of a defurizing agent supplied for removing sulfur contents.

CONSTITUTION: The fluidized bed furnace 1 is divided into a plurality of cells 2AW2D, and a fuel is fed into respective cells. When the furnace is put into an operative state, fluidized air from wind boxed 4AW4D is fed to divided cells 2AW2D, and a fuel is fed thereto through respective fuel supply ports 7AW7D. A desulfurizing agent is supplied from a desulfurizing agent supply port 8D to the cell 2D, for example, having high temperatures of layers. In the cell 2D a desulfurization reaction is caused and combustion heat in the fluidized bed 2 is absorbed by an endothermic operation upon this occasion. As a result, the temperature of layers of the cell is lowered, and draws near to the temperature of layers of the other cell, and the temperature of layers of the entire cell is unified. On the other hand, since desulfurizing agent supply ports for the cells 2AW2C of low layer temperature are not provided, the deusulfurizing agent is not directly supplied. However, the desulfurizing agent is diffused by fluidizing air, and is dispersed from the cell 2D to the other cells 2AW2C. therefore, a predetermined desulfurization is maintained in the fluidized bed.
