Abstract:
PURPOSE:To transfer liquid from a tank having a faulty submerged pump for unloading to a normal tank by jetting gas into a transfer pipe to facilitate the suction of liquid in the running of a compressor. CONSTITUTION:A part of gas at the discharge side of a compressor 3 is taken out through a branch pipe 15A to be presented to a suction inlet 12a of a transfer pipe 12A. In the running of the compressor 3 the gas is injected from the suction inlet 12a to the interior of the transfer pipe 12A to reduce the apparent specific gravity of liquid in the transfer pipe 12A so that the liquid can be sucked even if the vacuum in an air-liquid separator 11 is low and the liquid can be transferred from the tank 1A having a faulty submerged pump 10A to another tank 1B.
