Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an operation of unloading a product from a pallet to be performed safely and efficiently even in a narrower work space and to reduce costs.SOLUTION: In an operation in which a product 52 with casters 52a is packed in advance by using a cushioning material 10 (20) filled with fluid (air) and the product is unloaded from a pallet 51, the cushioning material is placed next to the pallet, the product is moved onto the cushioning material from above the pallet, and then the product is lowered by removing fluid from the cushioning material. Additionally, a top plate member 54 is also packed, and is disposed onto the cushioning material when the product is lowered. As a cushioning material, one composed of independent cells separated from one another or composed of separate cells connected by a circulation path, one in which each cell is formed long from one end of the cushioning material to a reverse end, or one with an inlet and an outlet is used. The cushioning material folded into three or more layers, each of which has a plurality of cells, is used for packing. Since the outermost layers of the cushioning material during packing are easily damaged, they are not used during the lowering of the product.
