Abstract:
To rapidly and positively remove an end part by a simple means in unpacking a paper reel.
A cutting device 7 fixed to a robot arm and intended for separating off end parts of a package of the paper reel comprises an edge cutting unit 7 having an edge cutting disc 18 and a detector 19, and a positioning unit 16 having an elastic positioning strip 27. The positioning strip 27 is wound on a winding roller 26, unwound after penetrating the end part by a spindle 33, and pushed to the edge of an end face between the end part and the end face of the paper reel at the spindle 33 part to pass through an outer peripheral package.
