Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide expression power and convenience of intuitive use related to a pen stroke and a gesture, without requiring a complicated character recognition software.
SOLUTION: A small letter "a" is input by tapping a stylus on a key "a" in a graphic keyboard. A capital letter "A" is input by a stroke directed upwards started on the key "a". A user is allowed to express other modifiers for a basic character such as "control", "substitution" and "command", by giving other stroke in other directions.
