Abstract:
To provide a method for using a diffuser of an immersion type membrane separation apparatus and the immersion type membrane separation apparatus.
Air is supplied from an air supply unit 14 to the diffuser 10 for supplying uniformly-dispersed air bubbles to a membrane module 11 for filtering sludge. The supply of the air to be supplied from the air supply unit is controlled by an air supply control unit 15. The air supply control unit 15 has a timer 151 and controls so that air is supplied intermittently from the air supply unit.
