Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of material substituted by substituting molten slag powder for the whole or a part of fly ash or silica sand in a construction material which is molded by mixing fly ash or silica sand into cement.
SOLUTION: In a construction material which is molded by mixing cement, fly ash, and another required material, a molten slag in the form of powder is mixed in place of the whole or a part of fly ash. And in a construction material which is molded by mixing cement, silica sand, and another necessary material, molten slag in the form of powder is mixed in the ratio of 0-35% in place of the whole or a part of silica sand. As the molten slag powder, powder having a median diameter of 40 μm or less is preferable. Thus another material substituted by molten slag can be saved and added value of molten slag itself can be increased.
