Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a color transfer inhibitor being miscible not only with a powder detergent but also with a liquid detergent without a problem, and being further biodegradable.

CONSTITUTION: A polymer having repeating unit expressed by the formula and, according to circumstances, other repeating units obtained from monomers being copolymerizable with vinylacetate is used as a detergent additive for avoiding readsorption of a desorbed dye and a dye decomposition product.
