Abstract:
To provide, in order to reduce energy-originated CO2, a method for utilizing CO2 in cement production exhaust gas in which non-fossil fuel derived CO2 in cement exhaust gas can be effectively utilized by methanation, and to provide a CO2 utilization system.SOLUTION: The method includes a methane production step in which hydrogen is added to CO2 in the exhaust gas from a cement production facility or CO2 separated and recovered from the exhaust gas to produce methane, and a methane consumption step in which the methane produced in the methane production step is used as an alternative fuel for some or all of the fossil fuels into the cement production facility, and in which the methane production step and the methane consumption step are repeated continuously.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
