To provide a method for utilizing concrete sludge which is industrial wastes, materials for composites to be used for carrying out the method, and composite materials produced by using the materials for composites.
In this method for utilizing concrete sludge, at first concrete sludge separated as an industrial waste to be managed is washed with water, the resultant concrete sludge is separated into an aqueous suspension, pebbles, and sand, and pebbles and sand are removed. Then, the solid matter in the aqueous suspension is precipitated (S2) and the supernatant water is removed. The precipitated solid matter is dried (S3) by sun rays and then pulverized (S4). The obtained powder is made to bear negative ion (S5) by putting in a quartz crucible made to bear negative ion for a prescribed period and heated (S6) to 90-1500°C (for example 1050°C in the aqueous suspension). The resultant matter is pulverized (S7) to give a material for composites.
