To provide a method for utilizing generated heat of wooden biomass effectively using thermal energy generated by burning the wooden biomass, capable of drying wood very economically, and capable of carrying out drying while controlling the wood at an ideal humidity and temperature.
In the method for utilizing generated heat of the wooden biomass, the wooden biomass is burned by a combustion furnace 1, water is heated by the burning thermal energy into steam and hot water, air is heated into hot air, and the obtained steam and hot air are supplied to an enclosed wood drying chamber 14 to dry the wood W housed in the wood drying chamber 14. The hot water heated by the combustion furnace 1 is supplied to the wood drying chamber 14, and the wood W is dried while adjusting the temperature.
