To effectively utilize grubbing materials which have heretofore been difficult to be treated as waste by mixing at least an asphalt emulsion therewith, thereby forming a cold mixture for elastic pavement bodies.
The grubbing materials obtd. by withdrawing the root part of the trees remaining after deforesting of the trees and bite splitting and/or rushing these parts to about 10 to 150 mm in length and 3 to 60 mm in width by a bite splitting machine, crushing machine, etc., are mixed with 20 to 45 pts.wt. as a solid content per 100 pts.wt. total dry weight of the mixture of the asphalt emulsion of 50 to 80 wt.% solid content, by which the cold mixture for the elastic pavement bodies is obtd. The mixture is mixed at need with fine aggregate of 0 to 30 vol.% of the grubbing materials, cement of 0 to 50 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. asphalt emulsion and colored pigments, etc., of 0 to 50 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. solid content in the asphalt emulsion. The pavement bodies are built by laying such cold mixture for the elastic pavement bodies, leveling off the mixture and rolling the mixture.
