Abstract:
To provide a method for effectively utilizing a scrap material of a memory disk.
This method is a method for utilizing, as a primary-crystal Si refining agent when manufacturing an Al-Si type aluminum alloy, a scrap material of a memory disk made of aluminum alloy wherein Ni-P plating is applied to the surface comprises the steps of: recovering the scrap material of the memory disk; putting the scrap material of the memory disk into a molten aluminum alloy in a melting furnace; and a molten metal treatment in which a flux is added to carry out slag removal.
