To provide a vitrification freezing method for an organ or a tissue for implantation capable of reducing a contamination risk (for example, cell contamination) of a biological material for implantation, a production method of a vitrification frozen object, a production method of an organ or tissue for implantation, and a vitrification frozen object.SOLUTION: There is provided a vitrification freezing method for an organ or tissue for implantation comprising: a coating step for coating by a gel, at least a part of a surface of the organ or tissue for implantation; and a freezing step for bringing the organ or tissue for implantation after coated by the gel, into contact with a coolant for vitrification freezing.SELECTED DRAWING: None
