Abstract:
To provide a melt combustion method and apparatus, in which combustibles such as waste and coal are gasified, and gas containing a great amount of combustibles is generated, of which ash can be melted by self heat quantity.
Waste is gasified in a fluidized bed furnace 2, ash is melted in a melting furnace. A circulation flow of a fluidized medium is formed in the furnace 2. Waste is fed to the furnace 2, gasified to form gas and char. The gas and char are discharged from the furnace 2 and fed to a melting furnace 41 and burned, and the ash is melted. The heat is collected from the gas discharged from the melting furnace in a waste-heat boiler.
