Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and quickly water-proof grommets of a wire assembly by coating a sealant every electric wire group in in-line grooves, connecting these grooves, bundling the wire groups coupled with the in-line grooves and taping them.
SOLUTION: Electric wires W of a wire assembly WH are entered in in-line grooves G1, G2 and arranged in two rows, a sealant 25 is applied by a coater in this condition, other movable member 15 is turned down into a connecting attitude to connect both grooves G1, G2, thereby mutually coupling the wire group disposed parallel in the grooves G1, G2. The parts coated with the sealant 25 are rounded into a circular sectional shape to cover the periphery with a rubber-made foam tape to avoid dropping the sealant, thereby quickly and easily water-proofing grommets of the wire assembly WH.
