PURPOSE: To form disklike three-dimensional woven fabric excellent in strength by rotating and moving a shuttle into a yarn shed formed by operating plural annularly arranged yarn shedding means and successively advancing the shuttle from the central position to the outside.

CONSTITUTION: Plural warp yarns (Y) are stretched among yarn shedding means 2 composed of annularly arranged and individually operable heald devices in a state of the yarns passing through the center of the yarn shedding means 2 and two vertical yarns (Z) are arranged for one warp yarn (Y). The ends thereof are simultaneously secured to the respective warp yarns (Y) at the central position of the yarn shedding means 2. A yarn shed 3 is formed by the operation of the yarn shedding means 2 to rotate a shuttle 4 into the yarn shed 3 by the magnetic force of a magnet 19 provided at the tip of a rotating rod 13 and a magnet 16 additionally installed in the undersurface of the shuttle 4 and a reed 18 is simultaneously beaten toward the center to form a weave. The operation is successively repeated to advance the weaving from the central position to the outside to form disklike three-dimensional woven fabric having a prescribed diameter and thickness.
