Abstract:
PURPOSE: To simply weld a superimposed joint with high adhesive degree.
CONSTITUTION: A projecting part 3 is formed on a flange part 11 of an upper member 1 by press forming. The flatness of flange part is improved by press forming and the rigidity of flange part is improved by providing the projecting part 34. The flange part 11 is lopped with a flange part 21 of a lower member 2 and clamped on several positions. By effects of improved flatness and improved rigidity, the clearance between the flange parts is so small that the lop joint is welded only by clamping. Then, the joining part of flange parts 11 and 21 is welded by irradiating a laser beam.
