PURPOSE: To achieve the burring of a SUS tube, and to achieve the automatic welding of a branch tube to this burred tube.
CONSTITUTION: A main SUS tube 10 is burred in the hot condition in the first process. Different from the burring in the cold condition, the corrosion resistance is not damaged due to the martensitic transformation or the main SUS tube is not cracked due to the residual stress. In the second process, a branch SUS tube 12 is abutted on and fixed to a burred part 10A formed through the burring. The branch SUS tube 12 is held by a welding holder 40, and a TIG torch 54 is turned at the prescribed speed along the outer circumference of the welding holder 40 around the branch SUS tube 12. Because the arc is stabilized, the quality of the welding is improved.
